Yes. It’s crucial to have a padlock that fits in a container lock box. You have two options: either bring your own or rent one of our high security sliding bolt padlocks specifically designed for our storage units. All our units are fitted with lock boxes that these padlocks fit perfectly in to ensure you’re double-secured against break-ins. The purchase price for these padlocks is over £95, but they are available for rent at a one-off charge of just £12.99.

We take great care in ensuring full, reliable security around the clock. This is achieved by providing a full-time security guard during business hours, 10ft. perimeter security fencing with gated access, CCTV and number plate recognition cameras and motion sensor alarms all monitored by a mobile security patrol unit. 

Yes, every unit size is directly accessible by car or van 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.

We do also offer some first floor units at a heavy discounted rate that are accessible by a staircase, if this is more suitable to your budget.

28-day minimum store period and only a 14-day notice period to vacate. Payment is requested every 4 weeks in advance so if you leave mid-month you will receive a refund for any monies overpaid, after the 14 days.

We request that each unit is paid every 4 weeks in advance via debit/credit card.

You only pay for the time you use so any overpayment when vacating is refunded back to you, if you vacate mid-month for example.

We accept debit and credit cards for payment.

Invoices are always available to view in your customer login area. They are uploaded on each rent due date.

We require a valid photo ID like a driver’s license or passport to complete the rental agreement.

Each unit is wind and watertight so is protected from the elements. They are also equipped with up to 16 specialised container vents to allow maximum ventilation and airflow.

Contents insurance is required to cover your belongings should anything unexpected happen. The same way as you would cover them at home.

Yes, however, your insurance must specifically cover goods in self storage. Household insurances don’t generally include cover for whilst your possessions are in a self-storage facility. If you wish to use your own cover you must check the terms of your insurance and provide us with proof of your cover. It must state that it covers goods stored in a self-storage facility, and name the store you are storing at and the full postal address of the premises. It is your responsibility to keep your insurance documentation valid and up to date.

We offer both! We have a wide variety of sizes of indoor storage units and 2 sizes of external units that are directly accessible by car or van 24/7.

Our storage units start from just £6.13 per week. All units include extended access hours, wifi, use of moving equipment and access to the breakout room with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Customers can access indoor units 6am-10pm, 7 days a week. 

External units can be accessed 24/7.

Our reception is open Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunder 10am-4pm for new customers wishing to view or sign up in person. Outside of those hours you may complete a booking online and access a unit same-day.

Our Sunderland site has 24/7 monitored CCTV, 10ft perimeter fencing, automated access control using your own personalised PIN, individually alarmed rooms and on-site personnel during office hours.

Yes! We sell a variety of boxes and packaging materials at great rates so please pop down to the store and we can assist with anything you need.

We provide a full passenger and goods lift! Unlike some other local storage providers we don’t just provide a lift that can only accept your goods, our lift is able to carry passengers and goods so no need to use the stairs at all. This can really help if you have multiple trips to make.

We provide free use of our onsite moving and lifting equipment to all customers to assist with loading and unloading. We have a range of platform and sack trolley’s and pallet trucks to help manoeuvre all types of items, making it easy to get your goods from your vehicle to your unit.

All upper floor units have access to our passenger and goods lift so no need to climb any stairs!

Our minimum rental period is just 28 days with a 14-day notice period to vacate. There is no maximum rental period.

Yes. Customers will be required to use their own padlock. Padlocks can be purchased from our reception on the day of move in for your convenience.
