We provide a full passenger and goods lift! Unlike some other local storage providers we don’t just provide a lift that can only accept your goods, our lift is able to carry passengers and goods so no need to use the stairs at all. This can really help if you have multiple trips to make.

How do I get my belongings from my vehicle to my storage unit?

We provide free use of our onsite moving and lifting equipment to all customers to assist with loading and unloading. We have a range of platform and sack trolley’s and pallet trucks to help manoeuvre all types of items, making it easy to get your goods from your vehicle to your unit.

All upper floor units have access to our passenger and goods lift so no need to climb any stairs!

What is the minimum and maximum rental period?

Our minimum rental period is just 28 days with a 14-day notice period to vacate. There is no maximum rental period.

Is a padlock necessary for self storage?

Yes. Customers will be required to use their own padlock. Padlocks can be purchased from our reception on the day of move in for your convenience. 

For drive-up units you can also rent one of our high-security sliding bolt padlocks, tailor-made for our containers. These padlocks are meticulously crafted for our storage units and are further safeguarded within a lock box, enhancing break-in protection. The purchase price for these padlocks is £95, but they are available for rent at a one-off charge of £12.99.

Do I pay weekly or monthly?

We request payment every 4 weeks in advance by debit/credit card. Any overpayment is refunded if you vacate mid-month, subject to our 14-day notice period.

Yes, however, your insurance must specifically cover goods in self storage. Household insurances don’t generally include cover for whilst your possessions are in a self-storage facility. If you wish to use your own cover you must check the terms of your insurance and provide us with proof of your cover. It must state that it covers goods stored in a self-storage facility, and name the store you are storing at and the full postal address of the premises. It is your responsibility to keep your insurance documentation valid and up to date.
