Trusted Storage Solutions Near Chorley

SCA Self Storage facility corridor

Since 1995 we’ve done one thing and done it properly — over 25 years of storing people’s possessions securely, charging honestly, and being open when they actually need to get in. Chorley customers get all of that at our Blackburn site, in purpose-built units looked after by a team who know every corner of the place.

Boxes from the loft, an entire house of furniture, or the equipment keeping a business running — it all receives identical care, identical security and the same no-nonsense service. That’s what keeps Chorley households and firms coming back.

About Chorley

Chorley is a town of around 36,700, grown considerably over the past two decades as new housing has spread through Euxton, Clayton-le-Woods, Whittle-le-Woods and Buckshaw Village. It’s a commuter town with excellent motorway links, an established market at its centre, and — as anyone who has moved into a modern estate will tell you — nowhere near enough built-in storage.

New-build garages barely fit a car. Lofts come without boarding. And with business space around Buckshaw and Revolution Park commanding proper commercial rates, using that footprint for archive boxes and slow-selling stock quickly becomes poor value.

There’s a straightforward alternative up the M61 and M65. SCA Self Storage Blackburn sits on Glenfield Park off Philips Road, with access available whenever you need it.

Reserving a unit shouldn’t be the awkward bit of a move. Ours takes four steps, and most Chorley customers have theirs booked in a matter of minutes.

The steps:

  • Get an Instant Quote – Browse Chorley storage unit sizes and prices online or ask us over the phone. Rates are given in full, terms stay flexible, and new customers can claim as much as 55% off for up to 12 weeks.
  • Reserve Your Unit – Book online, by telephone, or in person at the Blackburn site. Nothing is charged until moving day itself.
  • Move In – Park up at your unit and unload straight through the door. No lifts, no corridors, no carting boxes across a car park.
  • Access Anytime – Yours to use every hour of every day. Early starts and late finishes are entirely your call.

The complete picture sits on our Blackburn Self Storage page — relied upon by households and businesses throughout Chorley and beyond.

Comprehensive Security Measures for Your Peace of Mind

Trusting a site with your belongings when it’s a drive away is a fair ask, and we’d rather demonstrate why than simply insist on it. Our Blackburn facility is designed so nothing enters or leaves unlogged — the question Chorley customers put to us first, and understandably so.

Here’s what stands guard over your unit:

  • CCTV Monitoring – Cameras capture high-definition footage continuously, covering the gate, the internal roads and every row of units end to end.
  • Motion-Activated Lighting – Any movement triggers the lighting immediately, discouraging unwanted visitors and making evening trips uncomplicated.
  • Secure Perimeter Fencing – A solid, screened fence encloses the whole site with a single controlled entrance, keeping everything inside hidden from passing view.
  • Keypad Entry System – Codes are personal to each customer, so access stays restricted to those entitled to it and every entry links to a named individual.
  • Keyless App Access – Each unit opens with keyless app access from your phone, so there’s no padlock to buy, bring or lose.

Furniture, personal effects or commercial stock — identical protection for all of it at SCA Self Storage Blackburn, a properly secure option for Chorley and the surrounding area.

Choosing the Best Storage Provider near Chorley
Indoor Storage Unit - SCA Self Storage Rotherham

Chorley has storage available, so the question worth asking is which provider still suits you a year down the line, long after the opening discount has gone. Three reasons customers choose us:

  • Affordable Options – Clear four-week billing, improving rates the longer you stay, and 55% off for up to 12 weeks. Got a cheaper quote for the same size and terms? Show us before move-in and we’ll match it.
  • Convenient Location – The M61 and M65 take you out of Chorley and drop you at Glenfield Park, with free parking outside. No crawling through traffic, no circling for somewhere to park a full van.
  • Range of Units – From wardrobe-sized spaces for a few boxes up to containers holding pallets, machinery and bulk stock. Move between sizes whenever the job demands it.

Combine that with genuine 24-hour access, security that withstands proper scrutiny, and 25 years of doing this well, and SCA Self Storage Blackburn deserves a place on any Chorley shortlist — picked on merit, not just convenience.

Why SCA Self Storage is Chorley's Preferred Choice

Most storage companies read much the same until you get to the terms, which is where they start to diverge. Here’s precisely what Chorley customers are signing up for with us in Blackburn:

  • Variety of Units – Small spaces for a handful of boxes, mid-size units for an entire house move, containers for pallets and machinery. Switch between them as things change.
  • Flexible Access – Every hour, every day, all year round. Arrive at six in the morning or ten at night with no need to check anyone’s about.
  • Advanced Security – CCTV that runs constantly, entry codes issued individually, lighting triggered by movement, and a fenced perimeter with one gated way in.
